Fact-check policy

Every story on World Space News passes through our fact-check desk before it is published.

1. Sources and evidence

Reporters and correspondents attach their sources — documents, recordings, photos or named witnesses — before a story can be submitted. Organisations that send news must be verified: they sign in with World Space ID, use a corporate email that matches their website, and are approved by our team.

2. Independent check

A fact-checker who did not work on the story checks every claim against the evidence and contacts sources directly where needed. A story cannot be marked verified until every check is ticked.

3. Editorial sign-off

An editor approves the final copy. The green “Fact-checked” label and the evidence panel at the end of each story show readers what was reviewed.

4. Corrections

If we get something wrong we correct it openly. Write to .
